Strawberry Freezer Jam Recipe



This strawberry freezer jam recipe is great to make when you are in a hurry, don't want to be bothered with 'proper' canning, or want a delicious jam that you can make safely with children.

4 cups of mashed berries
3 1/2 cups of sugar
2 Tbsp lemon juice
1 pouch liquid pectin

1. Measure crushed berries into a bowl
2. Stir in sugar, and let stand for 10 minutes
3. Add lemon juice and pectin. Stir for three minutes
4. Pour into clean storage containers and freeze. The texture and flavor will keep well in the freezer for up to 1 year.
